Every apartment features a bespoke kitchen including innovative ‘hideaway’ doors. The appliances can all be concealed by these slick pocket doors, to close off those parts of the kitchen while entertaining or anytime when not in use, for an uncluttered minimal backdrop for the entertainment spaces.

In collaboration with Lasvit, we also designed a large-scale lighting installation forming seamlessly part of the roof light of the reception hall of the building where we created a substantial and spacious building entrance that doubles as an art gallery.

Other communal amenity spaces include a gym, spa and private cinema. “The art installed in the lobby is temporary until the apartment owners get together as a ‘curatorial committee’ and decide to put on their own shows and collaborate with young artists and photographers.” Hage explains.

“For out first show, David Bailey was commissioned to create 44 unique photographs for the gallery, a copy of one each being given to the residents themselves. It helps to give the building a true pedigree but also give the lobby an authentic and additional purpose and means that the occupiers have a say in how it evolves as a collaborative communal space.”
