Rabih Hage Bursary for Creative Talents and Social Impact
To continue this tradition of patronage and support of emerging talents and creative discoveries, Rabih Hage has launched a bursary with a mission to find and support new talents in the areas of design, craft, fine art and art & design curating.
The bursary will focus on young talents from diverse backgrounds and diverse communities in the United Kingdom and further afield. The bursary’s mission is talent spotting, career development and supporting social mobility through recognition in the press, positive art critique and ultimately finding traction with collectors, patrons and the wider creative industry. The objectives of the bursary are to invest in and support its recipients in finding a meaningful and commercially sustainable path to career successes and creative business developments.
Every year a programme of support and mentoring will embrace one or more of the above creative disciplines, to give opportunities to the next generation of artists, designers, makers and curators starting with a focus on craft in Spring 2025, and design in October 2025.
A programme of the bursary’s activity; talents, winners, goals and achievements, can be followed on the this webpage, where news, announcements, updates, exhibitions and events can be found and followed.
Programme: Spring 2025 Rabih Hage Bursary: Craftsmanship
In our increasingly digitalised world, the handmade is becoming a rarity and in 2025, Rabih Hage Bursary’s goal is to emphasise the importance of craftsmanship.
The knowledge and skill of the makers as well as the beauty of imperfection in the object create unique and special pieces which will be celebrated with the first Bursary to be awarded in the Spring of 2025.
